We always wanted to own a farm and have a 'few' horses.  We slowly moved from one home to another increasing the land size.  By 1995, we had two horses but not enough land. Wanting a few more acres, we drove out to Rose Prairie and fell in love with the area.

We only had to look at two places to know this is where we wanted to retire.  We bought our 160 acre farm in Fall 1995.

A small independent magazine article on Curly Horses caught our interest in 1997.  We met a few breeders in Southen Alberta and were awe-struck by the sweet disposition of the Curly Horse and their curls!  We were very interested that the non-allergenic curly horses had mohair and not regular horse hair!!

An auction was being held and we hired a broker to bid for us.  Several weeks later, our first pregnant Curly Horse mares arrived.  We had never seen them...we were beyond excited...we were not disappointed by the curly horse foals that frolicked on our farm a few months later....

Fast forward several years - several misfortunes - several health issues - and we are now having to sell our farm before retirement and all our curly horses for sale.

We are ultimately very disheartened and want our beloved stallion, fillies and mares to find loving, caring age-in-place homes.   If you are interested, please contact us.

All our curly horses for sale have been imprinted at birth.  This means we pressure touched them, rubbed and tapped them all over their bodies to 'imprint' the idea that human touch and interaction is not harmful.

We see our stallion, fillies and mares daily all year round.  Our curly horses have been exposed to tractors, skidoos, quads, water pumps, smoke pit fires, dogs and kids, to name a few.
